Washer boards come in all shapes and sizes. There are one hole washer boards, three hole washerboards and even five hole washer boards! They can be flat surfaces or slanted surfaces. You can add carpet or just leave your washerboards plain and simple. Some people like to add backboards to help keep the pitching washers on the surface and others like to add a chain to the washer boards so you don't have to worry about measuring the distance between them.
